CloseMyanmar's representative to the United Nations has urged member states "stop their silence on our suffering" and help end the crisis in the country.
Kyar Moe Tun, who was appointed as the country's UN ambassador before the democratically elected government was ousted in 2021, made an emotional appeal saying the international community had "failed the people of Myanmar again and again."
